Farmers in South Africa’s Western Cape wine region are facing a strange trouble. Baboons in the region have developed a taste for Chardonnay grapes.According to a report published in The Times newspaper farms in the Franschhoek Valley had been emptied by rampaging Chachma baboons, which are sneaking into secured plots and munching tonnes of grapes.
